Announcement
Nepalese Association of Queensland (NAQ) Inc. in association with Non Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA) Australia is organizing the second Australia-wide Nepalese Dance Competition in Brisbane on 3rd of September 2011. Registration is now open.
Registration
Registration for the event is now closed. Thirty five contestants from various states/territories (except ACT) have confirmed their participation in the competition. There will be 14 single dances, 6 duet dances and 6 group dances presented in the first round of the competition.
Awards
The performances will be judged by a panel of five people well familiar with Nepalese dance and culture. Judgment will be made on the basis of dancing skills and choreographic talents. The winners will be awarded with trophies, certificates and attractive cash prizes.

Welcome to Nepalese Dance Competition 2011
Event Details
Nepalese Dance Competition 2011 will be held in Brisbane on 3rd of September 2011. This event is being organized by Nepalese Association of Queensland (NAQ) Inc in association with NRNA Australia.This is the second time that such an event is being organized in Australia. The first Australia wide Nepalese Dance Competition held in 2009 was a great success. The organizing committee expresses warm welcome to all the participant and guest traveling to Brisbane for this special occassion.Registration
Registration for the participation in Nepalese Dance Competition 2011 is now closed. The selection was done locally in each state/territory and only the selected participants will enter the competition in Brisbane. Air tickets have been provided to a limited number of participants to participate in the competition in Brisbane, while lodging has been arranged for all the participants. Full Story |

A five member judging panel for the evaluation of performances has been formed. All the members are well familiar with dancing in general and Nepalese dancing in particular. Best performances of the competition will be awarded based on the evaluation of the judging panel. Full Story |
